On Oct. 24, 2023, the ACerS International Germany Chapter hosted delegates visiting from Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU) in China, namely professors Ma Lei, Zhou Zuowan, and Sun Zhanbo as well as lecturer Chen Zhiwei.
SWJTU has collaborations established with several universities in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, such as RWTH Aachen and Duisburg Essen University, and is now on a mission-finding visit for new collaborations with the University of Cologne.
The interdisciplinary meeting attendees from the Chemistry Department, School of Mineralogy, and Institute for Geophysics and Meterology wished to find a new base to study chemistry and environmental/climate research. We hope they were able to get new insights into this interesting and up-to-date relevant topic!
